SHIPPING

Orders fulfilled by Uzuri Coffee are generally shipped within two business days. Our coffee is roasted to order in small batches and shipped to you directly from the roastery.

When the coffee is roasted and ready, you'll receive an email automatically when your order ships.

We select the appropriate shipping service based on shipment weight and package dimensions.

Standard shipping services and estimated transit times appear below. All transit times exclude non-mail days such as holidays and Sundays.

  • UPS Ground: 1-5 days
  • USPS Ground Advantage: 1-6 days
  • USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 days

OUR COFFEE

Medium roast coffee beans are roasted to a level where they maintain a medium acidity and body. They offer a rounded flavor profile which balances between the bean's natural flavors and the roasting process.

Single-origin coffee is made from beans grown in a specific geographic region. It allows coffee connoisseurs to enjoy the unique flavors and characteristics of that region's coffee, showcasing the local farmers.

Orders placed via our online shop will roast the very next available roast day for that coffee if ordered before 1:30 PM EST

Our roast days are typically Monday through Friday.

The bags that we ship our coffee in are excellent at keeping your coffee fresh by keeping out the three major factors of coffee aging which are light, moisture, and air.

Unopened coffee will remain fresh for 60 days after being roasted. 

After opening, use within 14 days for optimum flavor.

Uzuri is developed around sourcing high quality green beans from small farmers in rural African regions. The proceeds go directly to the farmers to enable them to benefit from their hard work rather than supporting profit making corporations who pay them minimum amounts.

We aspire to be the leading African coffee importers into the United States and to source high quality coffee from as many small batch farmers as we can.
